We are providing a wide portfolio of integrated telecommunication and IT services to our customers. Invitech also owns unique datacentre competencies with state of the art DC services. Besides our standard services we are open to create new products and solutions according to your requirements.
What is our service area?
Invitech is based in Hungary, the heart of the CEE region. Our geographical location combined with our 11 crossboarders to the neighbouring countries and our deep market experience allow us to provide a regional solution to our customers.
Invitech Carrier Services network expands throughout Hungary with more than 11 000 kilometers of fiber and besides that a significant coverage is available in adjacent countries in Central-Eastern Europe via its selected local partners.
Whole network is MPLS-enabled. Ethernet and IP interconnections are available in several cities in each country totaling more than 330 POP locations.
Invitech Carrier Services targets the highest achievable service levels. All active network elements are managed remotely and operational data is collected for further analysis. Should link peak utilization exceed a pre-defined threshold, automatic upgrade process is triggered to ensure low-jitter, predictable and low latency operation.

In order to meet industry’s best practices against external threats to telecommunication networks Invitech introduced a self-defending networking element policy.
- Unused interfaces are shut down;
- Self-defending devices via ACLs and other techniques;
- Unused features and possible security holes are disabled ;
- Password management, regular changes to passwords, centralized management;
- POPs are located in telehouses thus unauthorized access to physical devices is not possible;
Access to network devices is enabled from trusted hosts only. Configuration files are saved and archived on a daily basis.
Service Level Agreement
Target delivery lead time
Estimated target service delivery date to hand the service over to the customer. Target delivery lead time is valid for on-net sites only, I.e. no third-party network is used to reach customer site. In case of third-party network is used feasibility study is needed prior to committing date of delivery.
Average lead times:
- On-net: 4-6 weeks
- Off-net: 6-8 weeks
Planned availability
Service availability refers to the ability for the customer to use the telecommunications service according to its specification. Availability is defined as a ratio
Availability ( % ) = (1-ts/tu) x 100
where:
- the Period of systematic follow-up is the total number of hours during the month for which the guaranteed availability of the service has been calculated for
- tu stands for total duration of interruption, reduced quality, disturbances, difficulties and failures during the Period of systematic follow-up (in hours)
- ts stands for total time of providing of the services during the Period of systematic follow-up
The availability shall be measured during the Period of Systematic Follow-up for each particular link.
The guaranteed availability and quality parameters shall be: 99,5% yearly.
Maximum repair time
All faults and degradations to the service are handled on a 24x7 basis. Invitech shall make any effort to fix outages in customer services having any outage not exceed 6 hours.
Bit Error Ratio and Maximum Frame loss Ratio
Invitech guarantee that BER does not exceed 10-8 end-to-end. Frame Loss Ration shall be better than 10-6
Latency
Latency is defined as the time in milliseconds (ms) consumed by a one-way transmission of the information. Latency figures among Invitech main POPs shall not exceed 20 ms.
NOC and customer care
Invitech operates unified customer care and network operation centre that ensures up-to-date information is given to customers. Problems may be reported by phone, fax or electronic mail. Customer Care / Network Operation Centre acts as single point of contact and coordinates fault resolution process.
Main tasks:
- opening trouble ticket upon fault report or monitoring system alarm. Customers are required to provide NOC with the service ID;
- confirmation of reported fault in service with trouble ticked ID;
- providing regular updates to customers on status of resolution until the ticket is closed;
- coordinating fault resolution;
- providing information to customers on planned maintenance;
NOC is available 24x7x365 with English-speaking engineers. NOC also contacts customers if on-site works are needed and negotiates about access to the site.

International Private Line - private circuit service
Carrier Ethernet
Invitech Carrier Ethernet service is a point-to-point and point-to-multipoint Layer-2 connectivity among endpoints within Invitech footprint. Carrier Ethernet (CE) service utilizes Ethernet Virtual Connections (EVC) spanning through Invitech Carrier Services’ MEF certified network. Each EVC is configured to guarantee the committed amount bandwidth end-to-end. CE service is built on MPLS. Bandwidth options range from 2 Mbps to 10Gbps.
Ethernet Private Line (point-to-point service)
Ethernet Private Line (EPL) provides seamless data flow between two user interfaces (User Network Interface, UNI) over an EVC. Service encapsulates user traffic in service Ethernet frames thus provides transparent transmission over the EVC.
Ethernet Virtual Private Line (point-to-multipoint)
Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL) enables a user site to connect to multiple other locations simultaneously. Each connection is configured via dedicated EVC and presented at the central location via 802.1Q encapsulated interface.
Access to service
Customer connects to the nearest Invitech Carrier Services PoP (Point of Presence) via local tail utilizing various access technologies with selection criteria of availability, cost, flexibility etc. Committed access link capacity is 100% guaranteed. Typical telecommunications media are fibre and licensed-band point-to-point microwave. Local tail may be redundant to improve service availability.

- Bandwidth granularity from 2 Mbps to 10 Gbps
- Transparency to customer VLANs
- Service multiplexing for EVPL service
- MTU up to 9122 bytes
Interface options are:
- 100Base-TX with RJ45 connector
- 1000Base-LX with LC connector
Direct Internet Access
Invitech Carrier Services Direct Internet Access (DIA) service enables customers to access the Internet with various bandwidth options ranging from 2Mbps to 10Gbps. DIA service is a right choice for local Internet service providers, application service providers, content providers, data center operators.
Main service features are:
- Static or dynamic (BGP) routing between customer and Invitech networks
- Static or dynamic IP address assignment to customer network
- High SLA
- Any access technology is available including ADSL
- 24x7 NOC and customer service
- Optional CPE
- IPv6 support
- ICT services such as colocation, server virtualization, and IP telephony etc.
Invitech Carrier Services IP backbone has numerous interconnection points to Tier-1 carriers, local operators and regional Internet exchanges.
Access to service
Customer connects to the nearest Invitech Carrier Services PoP (Point of Presence) via local tail that connects customer's router and Invitech Provider Edge router. This link can be established via various access technologies considering availability, cost, flexibility etc. Committed access link capacity is 100% guaranteed.
Local tail may be established via the following:
- fibre
- licensed-band microwave
- private line, especially via Ethernet over SDH technology
- xDSL, where applicable
Local tail may be redundant to improve service availability.
Service is handed over preferably via Ethernet interface with the following options:
- local tail bandwidth up to 100Mbps (IEEE 802.3u, FastEthernet), 100BaseTX interface with RJ45 connector
- local tail bandwidth above 100Mbps (IEEE 802.3z, GigabitEthernet)
- copper: 1000BaseT interface with RJ45 connector
- optical: 1000BaseSX, 1000BaseLX/LH with LC or SC connector
Alternatively G.703 and G.957 interfaces are available on request.
CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) is part of the service.
Invitech IP VPN
Invitech Carrier Services IP VPN service enables customers to communicate among geographically distributed locations preserving data integrity and security. Service may include range of optional services such as CPE management, QOS, remote access to support mobility etc. Service is based on RFC 4364.
Service provides any-to-any connectivity to the customer network. Since the service is QOS-enabled, customer traffic patterns can be classified to various categories that can be prioritized to fit best actual needs.

Local tail bandwidth ranges from 2 Mbps to 1 Gbps.
Access to service
Customer connects to the nearest Invitech PoP (Point of Presence) via local tail that connects customer's router and Invitech Provider Edge router. This link can be established via various access technologies considering availability, cost, flexibility etc. Committed access link capacity is 100% guaranteed.

Diverse local tails are available in order to enhance service availability. Service is managed end-to-end with regard to service model as follows.
- Service is considered as managed if CPE/router is provided and managed by Invitech
- Service is unmanaged in case CPE/router is provided and managed by customer/partner.
Supported CPE are from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei or other vendor.
Class of service
Invitech network supports use of various traffic classes to accomodate customer needs. Classification is based on DSCP.
